A stage every month.
Music is meant to be performed. At the end of every Nepali month our students step out of the practice room at the ECA Monthly Programme, singers compete in ECA Idol, and our anniversary and festival shows fill the hall.
- Monthly Programme
- 2 seasons of ECA Idol
- 21 national achievers
ECA Monthly Programme
The ECA Monthly Programme is held at the academy in Chabahil at the end of every Nepali month. It is part of how we teach: a regular stage that builds every student's capability and confidence for performance, and every course takes part: vocals, guitar, keyboard, tabla, madal, flute and dance. It began in 2024 and is exclusively for ECA students: every learner, from the children's vocal batch to adult beginners, gets a turn on stage alongside our gurus, and classes rehearse their items in the weeks before.
The Open Mic session is one part of the programme. "Open Mic sessions like these give our students an opportunity to step out of the practice room, share what they have been working on, and experience the feeling of performing in front of an audience." From guitar and vocal performances to instrumental sessions and dance, every programme brings something new.
- Every course on stage: vocals, guitar, keyboard, tabla, madal, flute and dance
- Solo and group performances, plus an Open Mic session
- Teachers perform too: ghazal, bansuri, guitar
- Exclusively for ECA students
